This is in response to a comment left by an anonymous writer. It is a follow up from a post called… songs I live with right now.

I just wanted to be sure you got my reply.

Wow I’m really glad that I don't carry around as much hostility as you do. Thanks for the correction. The song was given to me on a mix cd. I was told that was who sang it. I will do my research next time. By the way perhaps you should actually get to know a person or ask why they stated something before you lash out in anger. Not to mention categorize them with a public figure you obviously have no respect for. If you want to be a hard ass do it somewhere else. There are enough assholes around we don't need any more here thanks.

Next time at least use you actually name….

yep july was a rough month.... lots of things went wrong but it really showed me who i can count on.... i miss my family back home in pa but i am really settling into life out here. i am convinced that KC has the kindest people in the world and the worst drivers...ehh you win some you lose some...
so peter came home from vegas...with money god i love poker!!! he had been home in pa for a month bc his dad had heart surgury and then flew to las vegas for a conference. he is now finally home with me. we are getting ready to fly home for robbie's wedding!!!! i can't wait!! i am a bridesmaid and i get to wear a super sexy red strapless dress. I just brought it home the other day and of course its four feet too long for me bc i am 5'2" haha!! then i will be coming home twice in sept for steves wedding and then joey's ..."love actually is all around us" so basically i will be broke from all the plain trips.... maybe i will be bumped from a flight and get some free tickets....i can always dream

a lot of things have happen but only a few of note

my dearest lady died two months ago....if you don't already know lady was my dog. She was 12 years old when she passed from a blood clot. this is the only picture of her that i have on my computer. bridgette took it christmas morning 2005. i am not going to try to explain how much she meant to me and how cool of a dog she was bc i don't feel like crying tonight but you should know that she was the best!

my parents got a new puppy a few weeks ago....
not sure how i feel about that but from what i hear the new pup is a little rascal. his name is clyde and he is a black and sable collie

i received a job promotion. i am now an operations lead in training...i am basically learning how to run the store from behind the scenes which as is turns out is harder then it looks.

my car has broken down twice

the grey's anatomy season finally made me cry my eyes out! i can't believe denny died!!! if you haven't seen it yet sorry if i gave away the ending

i am trying to finish the divinci code before the movie comes out on the 19th

if you are looking for an interesting book to read try heaven's mirror by graham hancock it kinda makes you wonder about what you've been taught and what's actually the truth...i am secretly hoping someone i know will read it so i can discuss it and not have to revert to an online chat about the book...

who knows why I can't sleep.... it could be any number of things.... I will choose to blame it on the fact that for some odd reason I miss Pittsburgh terriblely...it's April now and I have been away for a couple of months. I believe that it is just starting to set into my bricked-up heart and mind that I have completely started a new chapter in my life. All of the patterns I have been so use to have been broken...good and bad....I miss them equally. I would normally be walking around the waterfront after a late movie at Lowe’s (taking for granted the scent of a Pittsburgh spring) wondering how long I was going to end up at eat n' park this time. It sounds funny I know but I miss it. I can not stand eat n'park and their smiley cookies that taste like cardboard.... and yet everyone buys them. The seasons didn't really change out here in Kansas...it just got warmer....very depressing. Although Kansas has not treated me all bad, the area is flourishing and opportunity is all around me.....unfortunately I was never good at embarking on any opportunities that came my way....I think I more enjoyed discussing them over a breakfast smile and dreaming of the good fortune they might bring my way. you may think I didn't take any chances out of fear and you are probably right...although I blame most of it on habitual neglect of welcoming change into my life.... well change has found me and I now stare into his eyes everyday...I must admit it is kinda scary facing a new city everyday....but change has afforded some great opportunities...now if I could only find a 24 hour restaurant where I could revel in the possibilities.

i have become immobilized from my pursuit of beautiful thighs. peter and i are possibly venturing out to hawaii in may. i am trying to contain my excitement about the possible trip until i know it is a done deal. the thought of running around in a bikini in hawaii has spurred me into action. i worked out with peter two days ago and was truly inspired. i did lunges, squats, calf raises...you name it. i felt strong, in control, and gorgeous even in my old pj pants and fleece pullover that has been my uniform for the past three days. perhaps that is gross but i am in darlington pa and i don't think the cows will mind. i went to bed with visions of sunsets and perfectly sculpted legs.......

i am now enduring day two of my workout's revenge and feeling less than attractive as i waddle around the house.... it hurts to sit, stand, or walk. I believe every muscle in my legs is burning and tight. i fear bending and kneeling, and the steps and toilet are my sworn enemies. I have been sore like this before and lived, and it really isn't so bad when you can walk around in sweats at home and avoid having to sit or stand too much. Unfortunately i have to perform in a show tonight... glide out on stage exuding poise and sophistication in three and half inch heels, begin my monologue, and then sit down only to bound up from my seat in a moment of clarity to finish my delivery. easy enough right, well...not for these legs at least not tonight. i have to brace myself to sit without wincing...so... trying to sit while keeping sex appeal and without the slightest hint of pain will be my greatest challenge yet. well not quite, but it will be hard. perhaps i will be fine or perhaps i will half sit half fall into the chair and then call to one of the dancers to help hoist me back out of the chair again and hope no one notices. who knows maybe this will push me to new heights in my performance and people will rave over it. "did you see her expressions... it was as if she really felt her characters pain" "yes i thought the subtle wince as she sat was brilliant and the way she strained to stand as if giving her last ounce of strength to face her demons and move on with her life...brilliant" ...one can dream

Well this is the movie i was trying to remember the title of on new year's eve. I knew it existed, and i wasn't just imagining it for the sake of conversation. I have a very hard time remembering names and titles and other important info. perhaps if i cared a bit more i would commit these things to memory better. oh well. I am not going to attempt to write a review of this movie for several reasons-
One.... being that i am not critic. this is proven to me over and over again when some of my seemingly more brilliant friends point out things that never crossed my mind after watching movies. Two.... i am not a writer, which you already know if you have read any of my posts in the past. Three.... i watched this movie when i was eight and thought it was brilliant! I don't plan on watching it again and i don't plan on changing my opinion. I remember sitting on my grandma's floor and being engrossed in the movie. I went through each part of it with the characters and felt what they did. I was on pins and needles hoping against all hope that they would survive their adventure and make it home for bedtime! there were a few jokes that went completely over my head but i laughed anyway. i was afraid of the gangs in downtown chicago just like sara and the kids were, and yet i was keenly aware of how odd their outfits looked. when sara caught her boyfriend cheating i hated him even though i wasn't quite sure what he had done. i climbed the skyscrapers, fell for the hero and yes i did make it home in time for bed. I am fairly sure that if you watch the movie you may not experience it the same way i did- unless of couse you are an eight year old little girl seeing it for the first time at your grandma's house while eating little debbie snacks and holding on to your blanky.

Jack Klugman signs booksCreated: 2005-11-18 Jack Klugman signed books Nov. 17 at Border's Books Store, 91st & Metcalf. The popular book brought out many fans and is titled "Tony & Me." Photos by Fran Mattox

This was the coolest thing i have done in awhile. Jack Klugman came to sign copies of his new book Tony and Me at the borders here in the OP. That's short for overland park-where i live, and yes it is a rip off of the OC only the OP doesn't suck. He was one of the coolest guys i have ever met. He talked a little bit about his life as an actor but mostly about his friend Tony Randall. If you don't know already he and Tony were the tv odd couple. The odd couple began as a play by Neil Simon. He was inspired for the play when his brother got a divorce and moved in with a friend who was also divorced. The play opened in NYC at Plymouth Theatre in 1965. Walter Matthau and Art Carney played the roles of Felix and Oscar. Three years later in 1968 Walter Matthau reprised the role of Felix and Jack Lemmon Played Oscar in the movie version. In 1970 the show was born with no involvement from Neil Simon. It was produced by Garry Marshall and starred Tony Randall and Jack Klugman. Tony played the role of Felix and Jack the role of Oscar. On a side note Jack Klugman played the role of Oscar in the broadway play after Art Carney left the role. Jack played the role till the end of its run on Broadway.

The odd couple as a tv show never did great in the ratings but well enough to keep it on the air for five seasons. Jack Klugman won one Golden Globe('74) and two Emmys('71, '73) for his portrayal of Oscar. He and tony Randall became quite good friends over the course of the show. Their friendship lasted until Tony's death May 2004.

I have not read the book so i really can't say if it is good. I think i might start it as my next read. If it is anything like the speech that Mr. Klugman gave i am sure it will be enjoyable and inspirational. When he entered the room it lite up. You heard the effects of his throat surgery* immediately, but he eased the crowd by letting us know it didn't hurt him to talk. He had such energy for being 83 1/2. "When you get to be my age that half is very important." He joked the crowd, but you knew it was the truth. He reminded all of us that our time is very short here on earth. There is never any of it to waste. Honestly i haven't been this moved by a speaker or anyone for that matter, in a long time. He is 83 1/2 years old he is promoting his new book, still acting and is raising money to have a theatre named after Tony Randall. He hasn't given up and it seems he would credit most of that drive to his friend Tony. Tony lived his life much the same way. He worked on many different projects and started his own theatre company for the sole purpose of bringing real plays and excellent acting to underprivilaged kids.

The time i spent listening to Mr. Klugman was wonderful to say the least. I feel lucky to have met him and a fondness for him is in my heart. He encouraged me to stop putting things off. I thank him.

I love this picture. I took it in robbinsville, north carolina while hanging over the balcony off of my bedroom. I get lost in it. It appeared as if tiny diamonds where floating on top of the lake. If you blur your vision and look at it you can just make out a cow. Seriously, try it. Its in the left of the picture. Really its there or i just tricked you into staring at this picture for no good reason....

Silly thought or memory if you will..... My grandparents house was covered with wood paneling. At some point it was very popular to decorate your home with, god knows why. anyway i used to pick pictures out in the designs of the wood grain. sometimes i would see puppies or other animals but mostly faces. I would imagine it was alive and i felt sorry for the faces trapped in the wood. they always looked unhappy... oh well i was a strange kid.
It's just the cows face...see it yet?
